TAFF VALE PARK GREYHOUND STADIUM

The greyhound track was situated in the Welsh town of Pontypridd and opened in 1928. The track was situated on Nile Street at 3° 19' W 51° 35' N and had been used by the local rugby club. By 1929 the track, like many others in the UK, was shared with the local speedway team. By 1932 the track had closed, although the town did get a new track called the Hawthorn Stadium, on School Lane.

The site on which the former Taff Vale Park track once stood is now used for rugby once again.
